We had a lovely stay with a beautiful four-poster bed and a delightful breakfast. The homemade muesli was the best! The guest lounge was perfect for relaxing after exploring Bath.

The staff were efficient and thoughtful too. The location was lovely for walking around Royal Victoria Park. The hotel was placed within 19 miles of the airport...
There was a little small bed in my room.

This trendy boutique hotel offers lots of well-equipped rooms. The location is incredible and lovely, at a medium distance from a late Medieval church. Plus it's set in the peaceful area.

The cozy honesty bar was great, but the room badly needed cleaning.

The breakfast was fantastic! Bed was a bit too soft and pillows were a bit flat.

A quality guest house which met most of our needs. The breakfast was the best we had on our world tour.
Carting our luggage up several flights of steep stairs. Would not accept a loft room again.

charming guesthouse near royal crescent and pleasant parks
I loved how we were just a short walk away from the fine Royal Crescent and beautiful Victoria Park. The breakfast was a highlight with delicious options like homemade granola and fruit compote that set us up for a great day of exploration.

The room and bathroom were very clean and well appointed. The breakfast had a good variety and was pretty tasty. As far as Bath goes, it was located within a mile of the Royal Crescent, Roman Baths, and the large shopping area in the town centre.
The permanent bed as well as the chairs that made into beds were all very uncomfortable.

good breakfast but room temperature could improve
The breakfast offered a good range of options and was very appetizing. I appreciated the nice touch of drinks provided, including hot chocolate and biscuits.
The room was not quite warm enough during the night.

We stayed at Brooks Guesthouse in June 2011 and would highly recommend it to both families and couples. The staff are superb with nothing too much trouble.

My mother who stayed there liked their shampoo from The white company.
I have booked two rooms (one king size double, one twin bed) but they misread an email from Booked.net and only had one twin bed room for us. Luckily they found a room next door and offered us to come over for breakfast with my parents who've got a room there. The room my parents were booked in was a disappointment - do not expect that all rooms are the pretty wall-papered room from the website. It was a little attic room with dull purple coloured wall as if they'd turned it into a bed room to make some more money. It was the same price as other pretty rooms so we thought it was expensive. The next morning, the lady at the reception on that day did not know what had happened. Would have been nice at least she'd recognized us by the room number straight away. That shows they didn't care about the incident at all.

would definitely stop here again
The room was cozy with a comfy bed, heating, and a private bathroom with a good shower. Amenities included a tv and an electric kettle. The breakfast was a treat with fresh cooked options. There's an honesty bar for late-night snacks. The location was perfect, just a 10-minute walk from attractions. Pretty charming decor too!

It's very well located...a 10 minute walk from the centre. Free use of a communal laptop and umbrellas also available for use. Room was quiet, comfy and nicely decorated. But the best thing about Brooks is the staff, who are very welcoming, friendly and knowledgable. Be sure to ask them about Bath's best restaurants.
